Paul Sartres is the designer of Le Marquis Suffren Hotel. For years he was the Creative Director of the Alberto Pinto agency in Paris.  Later he was appointed  co-Director of the personal Interior Design Offices at the Royal Palace of His Majesty, King Hassan II in Marrakech, Morocco. Mr. Sartres has designed, redesigned, and renovated over 40 hotels, including prestigious properties such as the Mamounia in Marrakech, the Hyatt Regency in Casablanca, the Mariott Champs Elysées Paris and the Manotel in Geneva. 

 
“In putting together the design ideas, I wanted to bring something new to this traditional neighborhood. We have mixed modern with contemporary with an emphasis on art.” Mr. Sartres added, “It was equally important that technically it all worked.  Comfort plus top technology systems available for the client has been the main theme from the beginning. 

“The Left Bank in Paris is reputed for art and its artists.  In keeping with this neighborhood spirit, we commissioned local artists for the many oil and acrylic paintings featured throughout the rooms and public areas,” continued Sartres.

A friendly and professional staff is available to assist guests with any need they might have. A concierge also is on hand to help assist those keen to explore the local attractions or book restaurants or shows.

All the rooms have been built to high standards. Each room is elegantly appointed with handmade furniture from Italy, Simmons top of the line beds, Muhldorfer quilts, original artwork, CD/DVD players, satellite TVs w/International channels and free broadband Internet service.

Guests can unwind at the end of the day in front of the open fireplace in the hotel's library, or with a drink at the full-service bar.

BREAKFAST AREA 

Guests can start the day with breakfast (from 6:30am to 10:30am) in the hotel's salon area with its smart contemporary décor, wooden floors and soft furnishings, opening out onto a garden terrace.
